As the original rim supplier in China for famous brands such as Komatsu, Volvo, Caterpillar, Liebherr, John Deere, etc., we were also invited to participate in this exhibition and brought several rim products of different specifications.

The first is a 17.00-25/1.7 3PC rim used on the Komatsu WA250 wheel loader.

The Komatsu WA250 is a medium-sized wheel loader built by Komatsu, a leading global manufacturer of construction and mining equipment. It has always been a popular choice in a variety of applications due to its powerful power, efficient operation and comfortable handling.

Komatsu WA250 is usually equipped with 17.5 R25 or 17.5-25 engineering tires, and the corresponding standard rim is 17.00-25/1.7; this rim width (17 inches) and flange height (1.7 inches) just meet the requirements of this model for traction, lateral support and air pressure bearing.

The three-piece structural design is conducive to maintenance and safety . It consists of a rim body, a locking ring and a side ring. It has a compact structure and is relatively easy to disassemble and assemble. Compared with an integrated rim, a 3PC is more suitable for medium-sized loaders, which require frequent tire changes or temporary maintenance. In the event of a tire blowout or tire pressure imbalance, the risk of the locking ring coming out is low, which improves operational safety.

The working weight of WA250 is about 11.5 tons, and the front axle load is significant; the 17.00-25/1.7 rim is generally matched with a tire with a tire pressure of 475-550 kPa, which can withstand a single wheel load of more than 5 tons and meet its working conditions; the 1.7-inch flange design has good sidewall restraint to prevent tire side slip or air pressure deformation.
